poor accuracy

Question
I seem to be hitting my ball everywhere except where I'm aiming.I'm thinking my led hand is to far forward or to far back with regard to my alignment set up position which would change the direction of the club head. hope you can help

Answer
Len,

This isn't too much information to go on, but I'll give it my best. One of the ultimate goals in golf is to be able to hit the ball where you are aiming. For some it happens more than others and in your case doesn't seem like it happens much at all.

I have always felt that the most important part of this game is to be able to hit the ball solid and get in in the air. If a player is able to do this on a consistent basis, direction becomes much easier to cure.

Here is my suggestion for you. Get a copy of Ben Hogan's The 5 Lessons.
Study the grip that is presented in the book. Also a great pre - swing position is paramount in gaining consistency in your swing. My suggestion is to take a lesson or two from a PGA Golf Professional and work on grip and pre - swing routine. This will make a world of difference in the way you strike the ball and of course where it goes after contact.

Best of luck,
