Golf ball inventory

Is there a limit to the NUMBER of golf balls that can be carried, in your bag, in either a PGA event or just on a Sunday afternoon for us hackers?

The answer for the PGA players or the amateurs is simply no. Carry as many as you think you need to complete the round. If you walk and carry I would keep the number of balls to a minimum. If you ride a cart, stock up on the balls.

The PGA players have to play the same type of ball throughout the round. For example, if a player starts with a PRO V1, he then couldn't play a Nike ball within that round.
