Golf Rule: Penalty for Playing the Wrong Ball from a Bunker

Question
Is there a penalty for hitting the wrong ball out of a bunker

Answer
Hello John:  In the 2008 revisions to the rules, the only time you avoid a penalty by playing a wrong ball from a hazard is if the ball is moving in water.  You must identify a ball as yours when playing from a sand bunker.  If you play a wrong ball from a sand bunker, the penalty is two strokes.
