End of the round driving woes

Question
I play once a week and am a 14 handicap. At the end of my round, I find I consistently lose the driver right. This is the catalyst for the late round collapse. I generally hit the ball straight without much turn with both my woods and irons. What can I do to remedy the problem?

Thanks in advance!

Answer
Chris:  A couple things come to mind.  First, and foremost, to help yourself right away, hit a 3 wood or something else off the tee to keep it in the fairway.  Play smarter and don't hit the driver. Make a bogey at the worst.  Second, usually it is associated with fatigue.  Once you start getting tired (physically or mentally or worse yet both), stuff like that happens all the time.  Again, you'll have to play smarter and manage your game better.  Then, if you are so inclined, you'll have to work on your conditioning a bit more to increase your endurance so you don't wilt down the stretch.  Cardio is best to build endurance.  Good luck to you and have fun.  Approach it differently than you do to get different results.  In golf, there are lots of ways to get our ball into the cup.
