Dynastar SkiCross 10 Bindings: Look P10/P12 Compatibility & Alternatives

I read that these skis could only be mounted with Look P10 bindings. Is tha true? How about P12's? Are other manu's bindings compatable?

It is true that the SkiCross 10's will only use the Look Pivot line of bindings. They recommend the P10 but the P12 is the higher end race model in the Pivot series. As to the P12 working on the SkiCross series of Dynastar skis, that is a question that your local dealer should be able to answer for you. I am not sure, but I would think that the P12's would fit.

As for 'why' the Look Pivot series is the only binding for the SkiCross series, Dynastar owns Look and they, like a few other manufacturers, have created a ski/binding combination that are compatible only with a specific ski and binding.

I am a personal fan of Look bindings and the Pivot series is one of the safest bindings on the market right now. I don't feel you would be disappointed in any way with the SkiCross 10/P10 combo.
