training

Question
QUESTION: hi joe iwas reading about training in zero-1. but it seemed that they only accept wrestlers and then train them in their dojo. i am a fresher. also i came across k-dojo and think its reallly good. what do you think about it? will it be if not better but as good as justin richards or 01 and if it will get me to bigger promotions?

ANSWER: K-Dojo is very good, but Zero 1 is the best there in my opinion.

Richards' school in the UK is very good too, so it really depends on the training you want. If you want UK Style, go see Justin. If you want Japanese Strong Style, K-Dojo or Zero 1 works best.

None of these schools can guarantee you getting into a major organization like WWE or TNA for instance. But they can guarantee good training that may be able to lead you there. Japan has bigger promotions that are popular and many Americans want. Such as AJPW and NJPW. So, that said, being in Japan and getting trained there to work in those places would be good.

Zero 1 will train you, but, it'll cost a lot of money. And they'll only take in newbies who are from Japan. Outsiders aren't welcome if they are first timers to wrestling. Which is understandable.

QUESTION: thanks joe . can you tell me the most tentative price of k-dojo coz i wasn't able to find it on their site. also if you could elaborate "UK Style" and "Japanese Style" of wrestling and tell me  which is better and will help me to accomodate myself in promotions over the world like wwe, roh or other japanese promotions. also which style is considered best by you and has had higher success in the world. thank you!

Answer
Well K-Dojo has different prices on things, it would be best to use the contact information from their website and ask them that way.

UK and Japanese Style are both excellent, so either one would work well. Promotions don't favor one over the other. It's just who is the better wrestler if they had to choose between you and another.

Japanese style is more submission and holds, along with some high flying and martial arts style mixed in. It's pretty technical, Some consider it like watching an actual fight happen. So, the moves seem to be hitting harder, and pops louder.

UK Style is similar, but it's more so mat focused. So, you'll learn a lot of holds and submissions, a little more than Japanese style. It's more focused on what is going on in the match rather than entertainment in showmanship. So, very little high flying in this style, Although it is incorporated. It's basically all wrestling with nothing much going on striking wise.

The real difference between the two is that one(Japanese) does far more strikes and is seemingly real, along with some high flying. UK Style, more mat focused.

Both styles have had high success rates. So really, both if taught well can get you places.

But I will say this, I prefer Japanese style personally. Both both are terrific.
