Answer
Well Brandon, being smaller than 6'4 250lbs nowadays in wrestling is just fine, if it was the '90s, probably not. Just look at the success of guys your size such as Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio, etc.

Also keep in mind that you are just 15, and the average man grows until his early 20s. Women stop growing around 15 though. Which is why they grow faster than we do. Sadly I was smaller than many of the girls in Elementary school, yet those same girls I am now about 6 inches taller than. Pretty cool, lol.

Anyway, my point is that you're fine on your size right now. Don't worry about it. I do recommend picking up a sport or something that will keep you active and working out. It's good preparation for wrestling. Also, amateur wrestling is in schools a lot now, if it's in your high school, go out for the team, it is excellent for a future wrestling career and you can see if wrestling is right for you. Remember, wrestling isn't about just talking the whole time. You have to wrestle, and if you can't handle that, then it's not right for you to do. Trust me, this could be a good tester for you.

Now, the best place to start wrestling is like what I said above, in the sport of amateur wrestling, the stuff you see in the Olympics. Also, if your good, it can translate into college scholarships, which is very important. Whether you go into wrestling or not, an education is very important.

And other good places to start are schools you have locally. Once you get the basics, then you can try your luck in other places. It's better economically, and you will get trained well. Look up schools in your area and see which you want to attend. I could help if you have any difficulty.

On finding a mentor, that's a bit tough. I doubt you can just get in touch with the average big name WWE star to mentor you. I'd try someone whose retired if you want to get in touch with a WWE Superstar. However, this is no easy task.

But my recommendation would be to try and get in touch with top Indy stars around your state. They can really be a lot of help. To do this, just go to shows around your area and talk to the top guys after the shows. Learn everything you can and always bring a mini-notepad and pen/pencil so you can write everything down.
