Samoa Joe & Chris Danials

Question
Hello again,

Whats actually going on with Samoa Joe and what happened to Chris Danials which eresulted in firing from Job?

In my opinion, Chris Danials is also responsible for what happened to him, to some extent. He was quite a senior wrestler of TNA but after reaching at certain seniority level, person shall act like senior and care for his position. I mean if you are senior wrestler and once you left the company then you shall rejoin in the same capacity....not becoming a CURRY MAN standing with Shark boy. Then you again left....and instead of encashing your own name, you rejoin with SUICIDE gimmick. OK....Kazarian came and hold Suicide spot and you again hit the show as a main eventer, beating Main Event Mafia (MEM) with finally your own name "Danials". But instead of remaining at Main eventer level, you got invovled in "X-Division" level matches.
Does this guy has any credibility....he is so dumb that after passing almost a decade in one organization, he can not retain his level....thats why even after competing in 3-way match with Styles & Samoa Joe, he failed to get importance in the eyes of Hogan & Bischoff and got fired like a jobber.
For Samoa joe, it seems that Story liners have nothing for him for the last 2 years and repeating same stupid story line i.e. long absence, come back to ring with anger (on whome & why...? never know),beating every one, and leave. Same thing happened when he got beaten by MEM and came back with tattoo on cheek, it repeated when he Hogan arrived and he left and re-join, and now is off for few weeks and news is that soon he is going to arrive. There is no excitement for his coming back again because i know either he will be back with the same ridiculous repeated story line i.e. beating every one OR most probably will be the part of RIC FLAIR'S FORTUNE as there is no focus on individual wrestler in that group...but on whole group...
This is my opinion...whats yours?

Answer
Well, Samoa Joe was suspended, but came back this week. He got blew up backstage on people, and this was like, the third time this happened. So, TNA decided to suspend him for a little while. That is why he has been off TV for a while. But, he is back like I said before. Joe is pretty much TNA's answer to the WWE's Stone Cold character. If you remember, Austin did the same thing and got over well. So, that's where TNA is going with it, even though I don't think Samoa Joe will go over that way.

On Daniels, he actually quit. He wasn't fired at all. He was main eventing a PPV against AJ Styles for the TNA World Title in December. So, TNA loved him. Also, he is a TNA original and a terrific performer. Rumors about him being a bad guy backstage and what not are not true. He was an excellent mentor and friend to those in the back, yet management never really awarded him for it.

Really, the main reason he left was because of money. See, he had an awful contract. Basically, he had a pay per appearance deal. Whenever he was on TV, or wrestling at a house show, he made money. But the house show money wasn't great, so everyone wanted TV time. Daniels wasn't used on TV a lot once Bischoff and Hogan came in.

Daniels was already fed up with how he was used and was just now getting happier, then TNA brings in those two and Daniels pretty much disappears, even though a month before he main evented a PPV.

His contract was horrible, hands down. And he should have seen guaranteed money for him to have had he got injured. Many others, including Joe, Morgan, and Styles all have guaranteed money in their contracts. Yet Daniels suddenly doesn't deserve that? Weird to say the least.

So, he was given a choice. Either he could keep working for TNA and barely see TV time or go back out to the Indy scene and work when and where he wanted. This is why he is in ROH right now, and is making the same amount of money he was making in TNA. And he can go out and work for any other Indy company he wants too, if ROH can't use him for some reason.

TNA does want him back, and Daniels would love to go back too. The problem is the money end of things. If he made more, and was given guaranteed money, he would he back. Even Eric Bischoff said in an interview that he would love to have Daniels back in TNA
