Answer
Hello Nishant,

The language barrier is making this a little hard to work out what you want to know. I am going to keep my language as simple as I can, but if you are having problems, talk to someone who can understand English better. For all I know, it is a possibility that you have no problems understanding English, but have not grasped some concepts.

My impression is that there are a few different jobs you are interested in doing. In pro wrestling, managers do not run companies; they are at a show to interfere on the behalf of their clients, or wrestlers or be involved in promos. Some may manage a wrestler outside of a wrestling show and so be like the kind of manager you would find more often in say, sports or music, helping them organise transport, talk to promoters about bookings and help market the wrestler. You do talk about managerial work regarding a wrestler, but you talk more about managing a wrestling organisation. When you say that you know how to make money in it, that also indicates that you want to be a promoter and so it seems like you are interested in a few different jobs with actual management one of them.

The only current Indian pro wrestling school, ICW India, does not provide training for referees, so you will have to go overseas if you really want to be a referee. Many pro wrestling schools provide training for referees. If there is a particular area you wouldn't mind going to, then look for the pro wrestling schools there and see if any teach referees. You might ask a followup with any places where you wouldn't mind going and then I can come back to you with what schools are in the area that teach referees, if any. Not every area will have a school that trains referees but overall, there are too many places to list here. Considering what else you seem to be considering, it may be better to remain in India and learn to be a referee when referee training is available in India.

I'm not exactly sure whether or not you wanted to start your own company or if you wanted to have some kind of management position in any company...I do not know in some places if the exact wording is what you mean, or if might have chosen a certain word because of your level in English. I might be misled by grammar problems and so underestimate your level of English, but I cannot assume that what you have written is precisely what you mean.

If you are happy to have some kind of management position, then Indian Championship Wrestling, or I.C.W. India may be able to help you. They may have other vacancies in the company, but they are certainly looking for an assistant trainer, which could lead to other positions in the company. If you are rather good wrestler and know how to teach others, that may be for you. Alternatively, you may get into contact with ICW to see if they have any position open that you are interested in.

If you want to manage a wrestler, if you work in a wrestling company you may get placed with one or more wrestlers to be your clients, the wrestler might agree to have you as their manager. If your English isn't especially great, it would be best to stay in India, since managers are expected to be fluent in the language of the audience- part of their job is to talk on behalf of those they manage if the wrestlers are unable to talk because of their persona, or language barriers. Again, ICW may be a place to start as a wrestling manager. There aren't any other alternatives in India at the moment.

If you want start a company yourself- the ones who manage a wrestling organisation the most are the ones are the owners or whoever is in charge of the company- there are several things to do. They are the ones that make the big decisions and make the most influence as to how much money the company makes or loses.  It is a job with far more risk than other management positions and great potential reward. You will need to first check for any regulations that apply for India. Checking out any website from any kind of Sports Regulatory Commission or Ministry of Sport that exists will help you determine if there are any regulations or legal requirements. You will most likely need to register your company for tax and administrative purposes. You may need to acquire a promoter's license from the appropriate organisation in India.

You will need to do the same sort of thing if you establish a wrestling organisation overseas. One of the main differences is that wrestlers overseas in particular have more choice where they work. A result of this is that some are cautious about new promotions as they can and have gone bankrupt or mistreated wrestlers.

Once all the legal stuff is taken care of, you will need to hire people. Hire is not the correct word, since wrestlers are independent contractors, but it is simpler and the basic concept of getting people to work for you is the same. Since pro wrestling is still developing and relatively new in India, you should have no problem with finding willing people, once enough people have finished pro wrestling training in India. You will need to make sure they get paid. You will need to rent a suitable venue, determine when you hold your shows, work out the lighting and set design, using what limited money you have for maximum impact and market the product. There is a lot of calling people up.

You will need to have backup plans in place in case someone cannot make it. You will need a team to create and maintain a website (you may handle it if you have time).  You may also have other roles, such as being a wrestler as well, or being an authority figure on the show. You will need to keep those working with you happy. Thoe who work with you may work for other wrestling promotions as well, so you need to keep in mind when the yare and are not available.

You will need to be creative and be able to use limited resources for maximum impact in any management position in any company. Scripts depend in part on how you run the company- or how the company is run if it isn't yours. Some promotions focus more on storylines than others. In some promotions, the promos and storylines will be prepared more. In others, there will be more improvisation. The wrestlers in some promotions will say more things on the spot. In any promotion, wrestlers are encouraged to tell the promoter or writing staff in large companies their ideas. The promoter in small companies otherwise provides the ideas. When wrestlers bring forth ideas, the promoter has to approve them.

Larger companies also use another kind of script for production, laying out the dialogue and the approximate time for it alongside the matches and other segments and their approximate lengths. Instructions for cameras #for promotions that have them# as well as production teams #for lighting, music and playing video packages for companies that can afford a video screen) are also given. Wrestlers do not remember scripts word for word unless they cannot come up with their own speeches themselves. Even then, it is fine if they do not remember everything. More important is delivering the words with good expression and getting the point across. Wrestlers/managers who can tome up with their own material are free to do it without any script. They may be told general points to make. They are also given an approximate time for how long it can go for.

You cannot manage scripts unless you are a creative writer or an owner of the company. There is more use for creative writers in larger promotions which put more focus on storylines since they have a consistent audience to watch them. Creative writers are also found in small promotions when they are not the owners or co-owners, unless there are one or more creative writers doing the task because the owner is unwilling and or unable to. Small wrestling shows have some storylines but put more focus on matches new viewers can easily get into. You would need to show yourself as being very good at coming up with stories for all kinds of wrestling week after week to get hired by company. Creative writers and anyone else which controls the creative direction are in an important position and so are not hired on an impulse. Creative writers need to prove that they can perform the task on a long-term basis.

So, in summary, you have the option to seek out management opportunities or do so in India, which would for now mean getting in touch with ICW India.

I cannot pinpoint particular companies or wrestlers that need managers or people within the company because the situation can quickly change or not be known without calling or emailing- which is inappropriate for me to do since I am not seeking the position myself. Companies prefer the person who is looking for a position to get in contact with the company, since then they can gauge just how serious the person looking for a position is and whether they will fit in with the company.  The most I can do there is providing some websites of promotions in an appropriate area.  If you are just staying in India, ICW is for now the only option.

If you have any further questions, feel free to ask. If I misinterpreted your question due to language difficulties, let me know.
