Starting Wrestling at 31: Is It Possible to Compete in the Olympics?

Hi, How are you?
I was in martial arts a decade ago,right now i want to start learning wrestling and get in Olympics by 2010.I`m 31 yrs now.
I have strong faith i will get medal,but wanted to know how many hours of practise is required, and in my country(india) we have to practice in mud not on mat.will my age get in between.

Hello and thanks for your question. If you have strong faith that you will get medal,but wanted to know how many hours of practise is required then there is a problem. All you need to do is to get a coach to train you so as to prepare you but I think that the time is too short. Ir you want to start learning wrestling and get in Olympics by 2010, and also win a medal then you should have strated the training for a long time and not just a fire brigad approach.

I think you hae to start practicing for another competition and not Olympics 2010.
