So I found ten resorts that have been named the top ten best ski resorts.

The next ski resort is in Cortina, Italy. It is one of the world's first ski resorts and it is a very cute town. The 1956 Olympic games were even held here in Cortina, so it has a bit of history with it.

Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada is where are third resort is. This resort has been renovated with the help of one billion dollars and has been around since1939. The nice thing about this resort is that it is not far from Montreal, like an hour, so you could take a day trip down there if you wanted to.

Another one of the United States very own ski resorts is in Stowe, Vermont. At this resort there are many, many restaurants and shops for those staying there. This resort actually has a lift-link to another resort near by called Smuggler's Notch Terrain. This resort is also very pretty and very traditional.

Chamonix-Mont Blanc, France is another holder of the Olympics games. It actually held the first winter Olympic games ever in 1924. At this resort you will get to ski down the world's longest runs at 13.6 miles and it's life-served drop which is vertical at 9209 feet. This resort is ranked one of the more 'famous' ski resorts.

Vail is another place to ski in Colorado. This ski resort has the largest skiing terrain in the United States and has much to offer besides skiing. There are museums, dog sledding, hockey, ice-skating, and snowmobiles.

Zermatt, Switzerland is known for it's big snowfalls that are due to the altitudes they are at. It is also has a gorgeous scenery and is very calm and peaceful, which would be nice for those who are never in a calm environment.

Kitzbuhel, Austria is considered to be the 'Pearl of the Alps.' This resort is located in a 700-year-old village and is one of the famous holiday resorts.

Whistler/Blackcomb, British Columbia provides the best skiing in North America and is every snowboarders and skiers perfect place to be with cafes and restaurants of all kinds.
