Very Old Brass rod

At an estate sale I bought a fishing rod like I had never seen before. It is all Brass and Telescopes, it, at present has a Johnson Century reel on it though I dont believe that it is the original reel. The rod is in good shape and is unlike anything I have seen before.  I can email you pictures if you need them.  It doesnt seem to have an identifying markings but I am not sure what I am looking for. Can you tell me the approx age, collectibility, and estimate its worth?
