Camping 101

Camping is an outdoor activity done in a spare time. It is fun, thrilling, educating as well as challenging activity to do. In the early 20th century, it has become a famous recreational activity among people. They do it simply to have fun and share togetherness with friends and family in the wild or at a campground. By doing so, they can escape from their boring routine life to have a fresh, close-to-nature life which will be a great recreational at a cheaper cost. Currently, people do camping as well as doing hiking, biking, canoeing, climbing or fishing. All of those outdoor activities are a means to sweep away one’s stress out of the hard living in the big cities. Refresh and renew are what they got after doing those activities. Those people will feel more ready to face their routine life again.

A trailer tent is similar to an RV. Both can be used as portable dwelling places. The main difference that with RV's, the living area and the vehicle often one connected unit. Trailer tents, however are more disconnected and compact. The fold down to very small-size trailers which attach conveniently to the back hitch of a truck. RV's are often much more elaborate and expensive.

Normally, people will have to bring their traditional tent as their sleeping place. However, as we are living in a modern era where people try to create a more comfortable and convenience place to live in, modern campers often bring their folding campers or tent trailer. This kind of tent has a larger capacity than the traditional tent. They also have more equipment to support the convenience of the owner while camping.

Camping may indeed an option to release your stress. However, you must also consider your safety while having done it by preparing certain equipments to bring. Here are several important things to bring and prepare if you want to have a camping:
- Tent
- First aid kit
- Flashlight or lantern
- Sleeping bag and blanket
- Sleeping pad
- Axe, saw or hatched to cut firewood for a campfire
- Folding chair
- Ropes
- Hiking boots
- Raincoat
- Trash bag

Trailer tents are a great way to connect to nature. Once you've got them set up and opened, there is usually plenty of space inside to eat and sleep. You can feel the ground and breathe the invigorating fresh air while still being protected from the elements with a roof over your head. They are fairly easy to put together and take apart, and storage is simplified by the fact that it all folds down back into the trailer. Some varieties are adapted sufficiently that you can still store things on top of the trailer such as off-road vehicles, or canoes, making it easy to create that camping trip you've always dreamed of.

You may add the list yourself. You know best what your needs. However, keep in mind, that this activity is not a vacation that has you to bring your whole closet with you. Take only the necessary things with you since you have to learn a survival life there. Happy camping!
