Are You Ready To Go Camping?

Aside from bring the regular camping gear such as sleeping bags and tent. There are also other things that you can bring along to make your camping trip more enjoyable. It doesn't mean that camping should be boring.

Other camping gear that you can bring are books, cards and a pen and paper. If you don't want to go out and just stay inside your tent, then a book will come in handy. Also, because you're in an area filled with natural sights, reading a book can make those tensed muscles relax. Play card games with your companion to kill time or write a story or poem while you're in a place far from any kind of disturbance.

A mobile phone, binoculars and a camera can also be added up to your camping gear. A mobile phone is necessary just in case anything goes wrong. But if you're reluctant to bring it, a radio will do. Binoculars are great especially if you want to do animal watching or if you want to do an inspection of the area. Another great thing to bring along is your camera. Take snapshots of the area and the animals that you see. Having a picture of your camping trip is also a nice way in keeping track of the trips you've made.

Foods, salt and pepper, cooking oil, herbs and other cooking paraphernalia are some more camping gear that may come in handy during the trip. When you're camping out for several days, it is but right to bring food and other things that will fill up your tummy. Also, if order to keep the freshness of the food you are bringing, place them in a cooler that can be sealed tightly to avoid its deterioration. Bring zip lock bags can also be handy in case you want to sort out the left-over foods.

In every trip, there should always be a first aid kit. Even though you have been going to the same camping site for several times, you cannot predict if the place is still the same. You should have in your kit are bandages, plasters, gauze, alcohol and the like. Insect repellant lotion and sunscreen are also some of the camping gear that you may want to bring.

A lot of camping stuff can be brought during your trip but you have to consider the way to the site and the vehicle you are bringing, if you're going to drive one. If you're taking public transportation, try to travel light and just pack those really necessary. It's better to travel light and have all the things that you need rather than having a heavy bag and have a lot of things that you don't really need.

Just a tip, when packing your camping gear, make sure that the things you are bringing will be utilized on your trip; Try to picture out the place so that you will know what things are really needed. Also try to pack things neatly so that your bag will have more room space.
