It's the weekend. What shall we do?

During your long work week, you interact with many people, deal with difficult situations and develop ways to handle large amounts of stress. For most of us, the daily grind can weigh heavily on our bodies and minds.  We all need to regenerate, refresh our souls so that we can continue wading neck deep into the rat race of society.  It is a requirement that we pay our bills, buy food and get other necessitates of life.   It is also a requirement that we take time for ourselves, get away from it all, and recharge our minds.  If we do not, we run the risk of imploding from all the external stress and internal turmoil that is placed on us during our daily routine.  Some people can handle the stress of life better than others, and never take time off from work.  Others have such a passion for their jobs that they do not see the need to be separated from something they love to do every day.  For the majority of the society, a vacation or holiday is something that has to be taken, otherwise, efficiency will suffer, productivity will decrease, and the overall system will collapse.

Many options

You have a wide range of options when you decide to take a few days or weeks off from work.  You can remove yourself from the daily grind by staying at home and doing nothing, simply decompressing by sitting in your pajamas all day eating ice dream directly from the carton.  You can take a trip to a tourist destination, scheduling torus and excursions, planning your day from morning to night with events and sightseeing visits.  You could pick a bleach resort, lie on the sand, soak up the sun, and relax. You could visit relatives, spending time with family you have not seen in years, catching up and reminiscing about good times.  You could also explore the great outdoors and return to nature.

Camping

If you enjoy sleeping under the stars, in a tent, or a motor home then camping may be exactly what you need to bring focus back into your life.   You can buy a recreational vehicle and take all of the comforts of home with you to the campground.  You could rent a log cabin in the woods providing isolation, but still steeped in modern conveniences. Or, you can pack a tent, supplies, and some appliances, and head out to the woods, roughing it like your ancestors did many years in the past.  Just make sure you're able to power all these devices!

Close to nature

You will not be exactly like your ancestors.  You will have a tent for protection, sleeping bag for warmth, and cooking supplies for your food.  You may want isolation, but still need some form of connection with society.  You can have an electric grill, coffee maker, laptop, phone or tablet.  In order to run tense devices, you need a power source.  One viable means is to use a power inverter with your car's battery.  It converts the direct current from the battery to alternating current needed for your devices and appliances.  With the balanced and proper usage, you can stretch your battery to provide enough power for all of your needs.
