DIY Plastic Bag Parachute: Simple Instructions & Materials

- A large plastic bag

- A piece of string or yarn

- A pair of scissors

- A hole punch

- A small weight, such as a paper clip or a coin

Instructions:

1. Cut the bottom off of the plastic bag.

2. Cut a small hole in the center of the top of the plastic bag.

3. Thread the string or yarn through the hole and tie a knot at the end.

4. Attach the small weight to the other end of the string or yarn.

5. Hold the parachute up in the air and let it go!

The weight of the paperclip or coin will pull the parachute down, while the air resistance will keep the parachute from falling too quickly. Enjoy watching your parachute float through the air!
