Seven Summit Adventures Of Lei Wang

Seven Summits are the bunch of higher mountains that’s stands as a symbol of pride of the seven continents of the world. They are noted for their incredible heights. When we turn back the pages of historical events in Mountaineering, there are only a palm full of people all over the world who had made their successful ride towards the top. The seven summits include Kilimanjaro, Denali, Elbrus, Aconcagua, Carstenz Pyramid, Vinson and finally last but not the least The Everest. Updating till today there are only not more than 20 women in our planet who have challenged and completed the most critical as well as dangerous task of climbing each of the seven continent’s highest peaks.

Another tedious task that adds to the list of adventure is the entire cover up of the extreme poles of the globe, the north and the south poles trough skiing accompanied with the wilder weather conditions prevailing all through the way. All these can only be able to tolerate only if the person is equipped with effective training in climbing. Because Climbing is not just hiking which requires adequate practice. Only 10 wonderful and passionate people have done this twin tasks along climbing with Seven Summits.

Lei Wang catches a place of one of such brave fellows with the addition of a worthless , precious compliment of being the first Chinese woman to make the records. The years to be remembered in her diary are definitely 2003, 2005 and 2007 since all her dreams were made in to a reality only on these periods. She climbed up Kilimanjaro on July 2003. The journey to Elbrus was successfully got over at August 2005. Denali in June 2007, Carstenz Pyramid was on November 2007, Vinson in December 2007 and the Aconcagua on January 2008. Her skiing between the two terminals North and South happened in January 2008 and April 2008.

The only hurdle that awaits and the only day that Lei Wang longs to have is her day on top of the tallest mountains of the world- The Everest. In the technical terms of adventure this challenge is given a peculiar name called the 7+2 Challenge. Lei Wang very well deserves the pride to be the first Asian-American and to be the very first Chinese woman to reach the target when we look back the sacrifices that she made to attain this glory. Apart from being a routine, normal girl she employed herself with stressful trainings that a normal person is unable to bear even a half of it. In the mean while she also tackled herself in managing financial crisis as well. All her stories proves that success requires not only inspiration but never giving determination. She stand as a marvelous of all mankind who are in search for their dream.
