Slide Show: Bristol Bay, Alaska

Last week I had the privilege and honor of being the "artist in residence" at the Bristol Bay Lodge on Lake Aleknagik in Alaska. Lodge manager Steve Laurent and guide/painter Bob White invited me up for the week to shoot photos, fish, and answer photography questions if asked. All I was required to do was present a slide show at the end of my time at the lodge.

It was an amazing week. The weather couldn't have been better, the guides and lodge staff were outstanding, and the fishing was incredible. I've just started editing the 7,000 or so images, but could not help but share this first cursory edit. As I plow through more of the images I'll continue updating this slide show, and bring you more of one of the last great salmon strongholds on earth.
