Wow what a weekend, as I mentioned before my fishing buddy Pat and I went up to New Brunswick to take in the Dieppe fly fishing forum and the Moncton boat show. At the fishing forum there were lots of booths that had anything from fly shops to lodges. If a guy needed something for fly fishing it was there. One such booth was Basque Fly Rods; a local family run fly shop out of McKee?s Mills, N.B. They had a large assortment of fly fishing gear from rods to flies. They also do custom rod building and hold a fly-tying club. Check them out at http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Basque-Fly-Rods/158404710875124  . There was a fly tiers bench where we met Bryant Freeman, who shows us how to tie the famous Carter,s Bug. We took in Bryant?s session on his successful Salmon flies which was really good. Another session we took in was Denis Pellicheros ? Watercraft for Stillwater Fly Fishing that was very informent. Meeting Denis We also enjoyed the fly casting aisle presented by Dennis and Verlie Grant who run the Atlantic Fly Fishing School www.flyschool.net out of Brookfield, Nova Scotia. Pat had hands on with Verlie and picked up some good points on casting. Pat getting some pointers I meet  Peter Clark, a well known author and maker of these Salmon-fly brooches and thats another blog. Peter Clark Also talk with Miramichi Northwest Lodges. And this guy, opps Later we went to the boat show, wow you talk about boats; there was every type of boat there and worth lots of money. We made a new gear review video showing the new ice cube 3, the ultimate ice pack, cooler and water bottle combo from p3 innovations. While there Pat mentioned that he seen another guy wearing a W.F.N. hat like mine, we searched for awhile and found local ambassador J.C. Cormier ?Stroover?  This made my trip, to talk to another ambassador for this site in person was awesome. Didn,t know that he was helping out at the fly fishing forum. Stroover and Cookster We talked about fishing, the site and other things while enjoying a brown pop.  I will share some videos on these two great events that we took in later?Nice meeting you J.C. FISH-ON! Cookster
