My greatest fishing day / Ma plus belle journée de pêche

My greatest fishing day occurred in Kangirsuk, Quebec. I went fishing with my wife and two Inuit friends.The Artic char his extremely abundant in this river. We fished less than an hour and we caught two char each. No char was less than five pounds. The average weight for a char is 10 pounds. Believe me or not the meal was really delicious.The Inuit tradition wants that the fisherman who catches his first char eat the heart in proof of respect and that fishing continues to be abundant. Fishermen keep this in your mind. For finishing, this day was memorable in several points. Good fishing, good friends and we had a king meal. Who will have the chance to fish this king of water up North?

Ma plus belle journée de pêche s'est passée à Kangirsuk, Québec. J'étais accompagné de deux amis Inuits et de ma femme.

La pêche au char est extrêmement abondante dans cette rivière. Nous avons pêché moins d'une heure et nous avions attrapé deux chars chacun. Aucun char n'était sous les cinq livres. Le poids moyen pour un char est d'environs de 10 livres. Croyez-moi notre lunch étais très délicieux. Dans le Grand Nord, la tradition Inuit veut que le pêcheur qui attrape sont premier char lui mange le c?ur en preuve de respect et pour que la pêche continue d'être abondante. Alors pêcheurs soyez averti de cette coutume. Pour terminer, cette journée fut mémorable en plusieurs points. Bonne pêche, de bons amis et un souper de roi.
