Fishing in [Your Area]: Pike, Pickerel & Local Fish Tips

Well around these parts there is a riduiculous amount of Jackfish (Northern Pike) we even have a lake named after them (Jackfish Lake 10mins from town).  which is the only fish i have ever caught in my life....soooo lame...but still a good fish to catch as scary looking as they are
On top of the Northern Pike population we have Pickerl, Trout and others...I will catch as many as possible this summer!!! If anyone has any tips on catching Pickerl i am all ears!!
