Friday last day at Lake Fork (for now)

Well the last day rolled around we had packed up the night before; I can tell you that the undercover tonneau on my truck is one of the best things I bought for fishing out of sight out of mind. And when you travel with Nanda you need luggage bearers to unload you?d think I was on Safari. LOL. I digress we only had a half a day to fish as I did not want to get caught in Dallas-Fort Worth Rush hour and Randy had an 5.5 hour drive to Page, TX.
Any way it was foggy so we drank coffee and headed out about 7:30 am . We decided to hit the same area as Tuesday 3 days of rest maybe they would bite again. By 7:45 had our first fish and by 9:30 I had five in the boat. 
We decided to explore an area I had not fished it was sort of part of wolf bay lots of tree stumps about a foot under the water but the secret was the isolated clumps of grass Randy nailed a few in there and our day ended as it started Randy catching the final fish.
I have heard Lake Fork is dead, wrong it may not produce the amount of 14+ fish that it use to. Again there is not as many boats on the water day in day out you put 4 to 5 thousand a week on any body of water and someone will catch the big girls. Seen several pictures of 10 LB plus fish caught that week. But we were not sight fishing
If you want to go to Lake fork and fish one day I suggest hiring a guide it took one day to figure out what the fish where doing so try and go for at least 3 days.  That gives you time to figure out and if the fish are in one of those moods they got to eat some time during them 3 days.
