Haiti Gun Permits for Foreigners: Requirements & Process

It is generally difficult for foreigners to obtain gun permits in Haiti. However, the process may vary depending on the specific circumstances and regulations in place at the time. The permit must be accompanied by a letter of authorization from the Minister of Justice indicating approval of the possession of said weapons, which shall bear the number, type, make, caliber, series and origin; A criminal record from the applicant's residence; and Evidence certifying residence.
