Dallas Golf Courses

2016/7/19 15:39:36

All one needs do is to open a map of Dallas to see that there are little red flags designating Dallas golf courses throughout the city. In fact, you can't leave the DFW Airport without seeing one of the many surrounding golf courses, no matter which direction you happen to go. We will review several golf courses in Dallas on this and other pages at Tee-Time Online for your assistance in finding the right course for your taste, skill, and budget.

The Better Dallas Golf Courses

Priced to play from around $50 to $100, Tour 18 Dallas will challenge your abilities and thrill your sensibilities. Let's face it, every golf course is beautiful, but some are more beautiful than others - Tour 18 Dallas is the latter. This star of Dallas golf courses plays longer than its 6202 yards from the preferred tee as attests its slope rating of 127. Tour 18 Dallas is unlike anything you've ever experienced, and yet every hole will seem so very familiar. Why? Because Tour 18 Dallas is the country's best 18 holes from the country's best golf courses, all recreated in one mind bending test of your abilities. This one you really have to see to believe!

Some of the higher priced courses in Dallas will run you between $100 and $200. One of these is the Cowboys Golf Club. This Jeff Brauer designed, 7017 yard, 140 slope course encompasses a world of natural beauty with punishment for those errant shots. It is one of the better Dallas golf courses you'll ever play. Avoid the many lakes, streams, ponds, and wildlife as you watch the elevation change on almost every shot, and come away with the feeling that you've accomplished something special.

Saving possibly the best for last, the Texas Star Golf Course has been voted the best of all Dallas golf courses. This nearly 7,000 yard, par 71, Keith Foster designed course has a slope of 135 from the Texas tee. One hundred year old trees will reach out to shag your drives if you let them, and don't be so enamored with the waterfalls that you forget to keep your left arm straight. This one is a must play for the serious golfer when testing your skills on one the many Dallas golf courses. Other courses we recommend in the Dallas area are The Tribute and TPC Las Colinas.
