Las Vegas Golf Courses

2016/7/19 15:40:11

Las Vegas golf courses don't come cheap, but they are spectacular in every way. From the meticulously manicured greens and fairways to the practice areas that rival most country club courses, Las Vegas courses are arguably the best in the country. We will feature a few of our picks for Las Vegas courses to play when you come to town.

Featured Las Vegas Golf Courses

The first of our featured Las Vegas golf courses is The Tournament Players Club (TPC) at The Canyons. This is where the real players go for their choice of Las Vegas golf courses - beginners stay away! You'll find the greens are exceptionally fast, the bunkers are always in the way of bad shots, and steep ravines will have you often swinging from very uneven footing. This is one of the Las Vegas golf courses for the serious golfers only.

Jay Moorish created what many call the first desert course in Las Vegas when he designed the Painted Desert Golf Club. Those worm-burners off the tee will get you in serious trouble here. You'll have to avoid the giant cacti if you go after them. Then there are the lakes that guard the greens and landing areas against those misses. This one is priced more affordable than many of the other Las Vegas courses, and it offers exceptional beauty, especially at sunset.

The last of our featured Las Vegas courses is the Lee Schmidt & Brian Curley designed tropical paradise, Bali Hai Golf Club. In a town where you can visit all of the great places of Europe to gamble, now you play one of the most unique of Las Vegas golf courses. Featuring more than 3,500 palm trees, 100,000 flowers, lava rock placements, and even a Wolfgang Puck restaurant overlooking the sixteenth, this is a South Seas recreation in the middle of a desert. To say the golf is great is superfluous - it's simply outstanding! Hazards of every type will draw your attention from the fairways and greens, not the least of which is the absolute beauty of this course. If you won at the tables, spend the money to see one of the best in Las Vegas golf courses.
