Junior Golf Carts

2016/7/19 15:40:54

Most everything that has to do with children is smaller than adult sizes. Junior meals at restaurants, junior clothes at the department store and junior golf clubs are examples of smaller sizes for children. When playing golf it is difficult to find junior equipment ready for use at your local golf course. The carts available from the course are all designed with adults in mind. The electric or gas riding carts cannot be driven by minors without adult supervision and the pull carts are designed to carry adult size bags.

For the junior golfer who likes to walk but doesn't like to carry the bag there are junior pull carts available. Junior bags are much smaller than adult bags in both bulk and diameter. Golf bags designed for children will have a smaller diameter than adult bags; these smaller bags may not fit properly on larger pull carts. Children's golf bags are typically shorter than adult bags and may not fit on pull carts found at golf courses.

Junior Golf Carts

One of the benefits of playing golf is the amount of walking that is involved. Many golf courses stretch for over 7,000 yards with many more yards between each tee and green. Even though juniors do not play the full 7,000 yards, they do have to walk it to complete each round. A pull cart can make the walk a little less strenuous and may entice the child to play more often.

Junior carts are designed with smaller bags and growth of a child in mind. Many carts will have a frame that can be adjusted for height. Carts can include two or three wheels, depending on your preference. All carts are collapsible to easily fit in the trunks of small cars for smooth transportation. They can also provide a location to keep score cards, pencils and balls as well as have drink holders.
