Almost Golf Balls

2016/7/19 15:40:59

We have all heard the saying "Practice makes perfect." Though practice may not make perfect in the game of golf, it is definitely a necessity. A good golf swing relies on a number of limbs, muscles and reflexes to work in unison. If your timing is off on any part of the swing, the shot will likely have negative results. The best way to become a better golfer is to practice a good golf swing. If space is limited, you may want to consider using AlmostGolf balls to practice.

The balls are constructed out of a cross linked foam that decompresses when the club face hits the ball. The ball immediately resumes its original shape to create a true flight and trajectory. The dimples are designed to match a true golf ball's design, which helps create spin and trajectory similar to real balls. The true trajectory, spin and flight allow a player to recognize whether the practice is paying off.

The balls are designed to fly at a limited distance, about one third of a normal ball. If you hit your pitching wedge 100 yards with a real ball, the "almost" ball will fly only 33 yards. The true flight characteristics allow a player to practice shots that would be played on the course. A beginner can learn the basics of the game and a skilled player can practice a draw or fade.

Playing and Practicing With the AlmostGolf Ball

The AlmostGolf ball is intended to be played anywhere you can swing a club. The ball is safe to be played around windows and cars. This allows a player to turn any yard, park or neighborhood into a possible golf course. The lightweight ball (about one-quarter the weight of a normal ball) helps young children learn to swing by hitting a lighter ball. The lighter ball more closely matches the size, weight and strength of a young player.
