Golf Award

2016/7/19 15:45:45

Golf awards are an integral part of any golf outing or company golf tournament. Everyone likes to win, of course, but in addition to the winning individual or team, you might consider giving several other awards. The player hitting a ball closest to the pin, the player with the highest score, and the player sinking the longest putt are all good candidates to receive a golf award.

Types of Awards

Golf awards can take many forms. There are small awards, like golf balls and golf ball markers. There are larger, handcrafted bronze or silver trophies. There are crystal awards, acrylic awards, key chains, paperweights, and even pewter tankards. Did someone hit a hole-in-one during your golf outing? Give him the ball in an engraved display stand to commemorate that special moment.

Giving out trophies also makes a fun way to cap a golf outing. Traditional "loving cups," modern etched glass, and figural awards are common trophies. Or, you might give a modern jade or crystal trophy. You can have the trophy engraved with your company's name, the recipient's name, and the date of the event to make the trophy particularly special.

Golf awards are available via online golf award websites and retail trophy stores. Prices vary from a few dollars to several hundred dollars. Most companies will engrave the awards at no additional charge with a minimum order.
