St. Andrews

St. Andrews is perhaps the most famous golf course in the world. Situated in Scotland, United Kingdom, this golf course was first established in the 15th century. St. Andrews has 5, 18 hole golf courses, with the most popular and challenging being the Old Course, which is positioned within the North Sea Dunes. Intermediate golfers will probably find the Strathtyrum Course the most appropriate for their skill level, while children and beginners can start with the nine-hole Balgove Course.

Pebble Beach

Pebble Beach is a beautiful course, which is located in Pebble Beach, California. The golf course boasts stunning scenery, including great views of the pacific coast. Pebble Beach golf course is often windy, so a top tip is to select the appropriate club for the wind factor to be able to score well.

Cypress Point

Cypress Point is a private and very exclusive golf course, that is also located in Pebble Beach, California. The 18 hole course has rolling fairways, and it boasts stunning views of the rocky shores. Muirfield Village Golf Club

This golf course is located in Gullane, Scotland, near to the capital city of Edinburgh. It is home to the world's oldest golfing society. Muirfield Village Golf Course is said to be a test for even the most seasoned golfers. This course was where Jack Nicklaus won his first ever British Open.

Pinehurst Country Club

Pinehurst Country Club is situated in Pinehurst, North Carolina. It is one of the biggest golf courses in the world, and it has 8 courses, and more holes than any other resort. All the courses are extremely picturesque, and have tree-lined fairways and bunkers. Course number 1 is said to be the most well-designed and scenic of the lot. This course was where Payne Stewart won the 1999 US Open, following an incredible put on the 18th hole.
