Maybe you are sure that your local favorite is America's most amazing golf course. To find out more about what has really been voted the greatest courses by professionals, keep reading.

Pebble Beach Golf Links
The rumors are true, Pebble Beach is actually ranked the best course in America. The par 72 course is famed throughout the globe for its unique and gorgeous scenery, as well as its testing course design. The golf course has held the US Open five times, with the most recent year being 2010. The golf course is planning to hold this event again in seven years. Operational since 1919, it has been exciting golf lovers for nearly a century now. It is a familiar saying that each golfer deserves to play Pebble Beach at least one time in their life.

Pacific Dunes
Pacific Dunes, a course at Bandon Dunes, is a breathtaking oceanfront course found in Oregon. Reminiscent of the famed courses of Scotland, the golf link features rugged, gusty fairways. Opened in 2001, the golf course gently grades over organic dunes and bunkers. It has been stated that "Pacific Dunes doesn't feel like it was built as much as it was discovered." Those in search of an organic golf round will value this 18 hole golf course.

Whistling Straights Golf Course
Alongside Wisconsin's waterfront, braced alongside the shorelines of Lake Michigan, Whistling Straits offers stunning views of America's heartland combined with a testing par 72 golf course. The no cart course was built in the conventional Scottish Links manner, but also had its design inspired by many customary Irish golf courses. The golf course is considered to be a work of art in the sport of golf, and was made by Pete Dye.

Only the Greatest
All of these courses provide luxury accommodations for the selective tourists who want to take pleasure in some of the greatest golf courses worldwide. They are all open for to anyone, meaning that anyone can play them to enjoy the same holes that golf greats have played on. Really, these are the greatest golf courses that any North American golfer could wish to have in their country.
