2016/7/19 16:22:11

Golf is one of the most popular sports that's known all over the world. You can find several beautiful golf resorts all around the world. From the basic green grass golf club, to something more out of the ordinary there are ways that you get the perfect golf escape if you look for it. For golf players who wish to take golf to the next level. They may wish to go to countries Australia, Africa, or even Greenland, these three countries are known for having the most extreme games of golf that you can play, combined with the opportunity to see kangaroos, lions, and learn different cultures what better golf experience can you ask for?

The longest golf club in the world is located in Australia, and opened in 2008. The club has 18 holes and is played across 800 miles. That means you'll have 50 miles of land between each hole. Aside from the golf, you can also use this golf club as a good way to tour Australia, and try one of the Roadhouse stations that can be found along the way as you rest up between tee times.

What if you find Australia to hot? Well, you're just in luck because you can go to Unmmannaq, Greenland and take place in the World Ice Golf championship in March. This championship takes place 370 miles away from the Arctic Circle, which means you'll have to dress extremely warmly well you play 36 holes. What makes this so extreme is beside the cold, each is created from ice floes and glaciers which means they change every year. This would be one of the best ways that you can see how truly skilled you are, because unlike the normal golf clubs, you won't be able to practice and expect the same thing to happen every year.

For animal lovers? Well, you may have a blast going to the Skukuza Golf club, in Africa. When you get to the entrance you'll see a sign which says "Dangerous Animals, Enter at your own Risk." This is due to the fact that this golf club is right in the middle of Kruger National Park. In 1972, this was built for the use of park staffers, but after a few years the park decided to bring in more business by opening to the public. You'll find yourself in unique situations when it comes to trying to play a game of golf, without running into zebras, lions, rhinos, leopards, and even wild elephants and these animals won't be hiding behind a fence. The club is completely built within the middle of the wild life, which means you'll literally find yourself in the middle of the wild side.

These are just three of the different golf clubs around the world that will not only test your golfing competition but also make you feel like a real explorer when you face the possible dangers of wild animals, dangerous ice glaciers and traveling over Austria's countryside.
