Tiger Woods Accident

2016/7/19 16:27:38

You may have heard this before;

There are three sides to every story. Your side. My side and the truth. I first heard these words from a man that I admired and had a great influence in my life. Pastor Robert Armstrong. He was pastor of Warrendale Community Church and a life long student of the bible.

To find the truth and than to live the truth are two very difficult things to achieve in anyone's life. God has a lot to say about truth, and although this is not going to be a story about God or the bible, you can't really get to far away from the author and embodiment of truth.

This is about Tiger Woods. I know that so much has been written about the whole story of the accident and the infidelity, but I wanted to put my two cents in.

Everywhere I go and everything that I see, I am hard pressed to find an ounce of truth anywhere. Nobody tells the truth anymore. Do your own search. See if you can find the truth anywhere and especially..... in your own heart.

My life used to always be about lies. I Never gave it a second thought to tell a lie. Now I am much better at it today, but what is it about telling the truth that we struggle so much with?

Hypocrite. From the dictionary it means; " a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles etc., that he or she doesn't actually possess." The word hypocrite comes from a Greek word which means; " a stage actor, hence one who pretends to be what he is not." Now before you start applying this to everyone that you know, take a good long look in the mirror of your own heart.

Pouring more guilt on Tiger Woods is not what I want to do. We need to be praying for Tiger Woods children, wife, and Tiger Woods himself. You know that anyone of us, in given those same circumstances could have done the same thing.

Tiger Woods family background is solid. His parents gave him a strong moral foundation, and built his character to be the individual that we all knew him to be. More than just the best golfer and sports figure of our time, but the character and quality of a good solid human being. Any women would have loved to be his catch, and there were plenty swimming around his cage.

A great looking guy. Solid moral background and character. All of Tiger Woods endorsements, all of Tiger Woods wins, and all of Tiger Woods net worth, put him way above any other man. The golden nugget that any parent would love to find for their daughter. Just think of that for a moment. But with such a prize comes all the heat and attention that not many are able to withstand.

All his upbringing, discipline, and moral character would be put through the fire, as it is with all of us. Everyone of us has gone through this. Maybe not to the same degree of fame and attention, but we have all gone through what Tiger Woods has gone through. Before you jump no his throat, how did you make it through yours? Maybe know one knows about your issue, and you were able to tuck it away from everyone's view.

I didn't make it through the fire of my test. I won't elaborate the details, but lots of people were hurt and lives were changed forever because of me. Only the people involved will ever know what I'm talking about, but with Tiger Woods, the whole world is watching his every move. He has no place to hide.

When I first heard about this I was completely taken back like everyone else was. Tiger Woods? This could not be true. He would have been the last person I would ever figure for something like this.

Tiger did his best to cover up and twist the truth and hide from any questions. He did his best to protect his image of one who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, and principles that he didn't possess. Or does he?

I do thing that Tiger Woods has those qualities deep down inside. You could always hear it when ever he talked. You can't fake those kind of things. Yes he did make some wrong decisions. As we all do will we are growing up. I do think that he is coming back to the truth. I pray that it is not to late for Tiger Woods wife and him to make things right. She is growing also and I hope that together they will learn from all this and walk with the truth by their side.
