Prior to swinging, you will need to come up with some sort of routine that you can go through, and one that will help swing.you to focus. There are many golfers, and there are just as many who have different ways of preparing to actually

Below you will find a routine that you can use before each and every shot. It will help you out quite a bit in your own game, and soon enough you will be swinging like a pro.

Step 1: Take one practice swing. Many players, especially beginners, tend to overdo this first step by taking too many practice swings. Unfortunately, taking too many practice swings can make a person more nervous and less confident about the shot.

With that in mind, take ONE practice swing. Try not to think about what is going on around you , and limber yourself out. Above all, avoid becoming stressed out.

Step 2: Visualize the outcome of the shot you wish to see. Once you have loosened up with a practice swing, take a few steps back and mentally visualize the clubhead hitting the ball in perfect harmony with your desired aim.

The next thing that you need to do is picture that ball flying. Picture it taking flight and getting lost in that blue expanse. Then think about it as it lands right where you wanted it to. Think of this as the real shot, even though it is a few seconds before you actually take the shot.

Step 3: Get your aim dialed in. Now it is time to get your aim set up so that you can hit the ball directly to your desired landing spot. You must align yourself with the clubhead in accordance with the turf and the distance you need to reach your goal.

Once you have prepared yourself, the choosing of a second target is equally important. Choose a spot that is right in front of you, and in doing so you will find that your ball will have a much better chance of making it all the way.

Step 4: Proceed to shoot! You've done your practice swing, you visualize the shot, your aim is perfect. Take your time swinging and stay limber. When you are sufficiently prepared, make your shot with confidence, knowing that you have taken the time to ensure you shot will make it all the way to it's destination.
