Discover The Helpful Guidance How To Get Golf Club

2016/7/20 11:08:59

I first started playing golf approximately 20 years ago when, at about 18 years of age, I picked up my very first set of golf clubs and took a trip to the local course with my Father. Ever since I can put in mind, at least from the age of six, he was trying to get me to hit a few golf balls with him. In fact, not a weekend went by where I didn't see the old man waking up bright and early, putting on his favorite golf clothes, grabbing his clubs, and playing golf all day long.

For over 12 years he asked me every Saturday and Sunday morning to come along. As I sat on the floor, eating cereal, and watching Bugs Bunny on TV, he would always say to me "Hey Jimmy, would like to come along and knock a few golf balls into the air with your Daddy?" Being totally uninterested, I just nodded my head back and forth and rolled my eyes, delightfully getting my attention back to my Saturday morning cartoons.

Then one day, as I was a bit older, into my teenage years, I figured I would finally take a trip with Father and discover what this golf game was all about. What was so fun about hitting a golf ball into a hole? Why the excitement? Who would like to pay out hundreds, even thousands of dollars on golf clubs? And what's with those cheesy golf clothes and golf shoes?

Well it didn't take long for me to become hooked on the game and finally knew the answers to all of those nagging questions I had floating in the back of my mind every time my Dad would head out to play golf on the weekends. From the very first day on the golf course, I was hooked! Soon enough, I wish I had started much earlier as a child.

My First Purchase: A New Set Of Golf Clubs

Once my father realized that I was interested in playing golf on a regular basis, he insisted that I get a brand-new set of golf clubs. He promised me that if I paid half, he would cover the other half. And so I asked about my choices in buying golf clubs. I could find a used set of clubs at a great price and save much money, or I could make a larger investment into a set of custom golf clubs.

Here Is What I Learned:

Buying used golf clubs is a better choice for anybody that is the beginner to the game. The investment is not nearly as much as new golf clubs and if for a number of reason you end up quitting, you might be out only $150 or so. Used golf clubs like this are the best choice for new players that want to test their interests.

New Golf Clubs: When it comes to new golf clubs, buying a set from a reputable golf equipment manufacturer may expense quite a bit of money, but for us seasoned players, there is nothing like it! This is especially true when you custom fit a set of new golf clubs that are built perfectly for your personal body type, size, and swing speed.
