Final Approval Has Been Given to DEVCO Builders for Entitlements

There's an existing plan to add residential developments to the property, and DEVCO Builders has received final approval from the County of Marion. In total there's an area of 463 acres of developable residential land, and the plan includes building 150 single family residence lots, as well as 46 condo/cottage lots. The plans also include additional incitements to buyers, including resort-like luxuries, hotel pad, and access to the impressive 18 hole golf course.

Operations computers and software have been updated to ensure the highest efficiency and most positive guest experience. A covered seating area has been built around the snack area, and the course has been overall cleaned up, cleared out, and opened up in some areas. For example, numerous tress have been removed, which results in a more player-friendly course.

With any development of this size, there are bound to be environmental groups and anti-development groups who bring litigation in an attempt to prevent the project.
