Golf carts, also known as golf buggy/golf car, are inevitable component to the golf lovers. This multipurpose vehicle can prove to be handy in golf courses as well as others purposes. It is more economic to own a golf car rather than renting. Buying a new golf cart can prove to be more expensive but simultaneously one can have a full factory assurance and the knowledge regarding everything about it.

Again buying a second-hand golf cart can also be helpful and it will allow one to save a small amount of money. There are many ways through which one can buy a second-hand golf cart. Either you can go to a local golf cart dealer where you will be able to obtain a repair warranty or through some familiar golf cart mechanics from where a bit more money can be saved. Here the golf cart can be purchased from a local party.

The cost of a new golf cart can vary depending on many factors. The range is from $5,000 – $10,000 per car. The factors include features and equipments that are installed in the cart. The more the embellishments installed, the more will be the price of the golf cart. But one can buy a golf cart under $5,000, if the add-ons are removed. Other factors include model, equipment and state/shape of the golf cart. Even some good quality second hand golf cart can be bought at a much cheaper price. But while purchasing such carts, one must inspect it thoroughly. Allow a golf mechanic to examine it before the final deal.

The maintenance of the golf cart is uncomplicated as most of the brands are rather dependable. For each models the maintenance can slightly vary. For gas golf cart, the maintenance can include changing of spark plugs, air filters and changes in oil filters. These can ensure a long run for the golf cart. For the electrical ones, it is much simpler as it includes checking the water level in the batteries. And that too, it will have to be replaced once in few years at a cheaper rate. And if the golf carts are maintained in a proper schedule, then it may last up to almost ten years.
