Inspire Putting Confidence Ping Redwood Anser Putter Review

2016/7/20 14:26:43

The Redwood series putter line is in honor of those early putters. It is one piece of 303 stainless steel that is 100% milled to provide the ultimate feel and control. There are three classic Ping designs available in the Redwood series, the Anser, Zing, and Piper heads. The Anser head is the most copied putter design ever, with the full shaft offset plumber neck hosel, it is the most customizable option in the line. The Zing has the half shaft offset, shaft over construction, and it is another famous Ping design. The head of the Ping Redwood Anser Putter weighs 340 grams, which give the putter a slightly heavier swing weight that is preferred by the better player. And these are not cheap golf clubs until you shop online.

Design perfection and milled performance. The new Ping Redwood Putter Series pays tribute to the home of the original Ping putter - Redwood City, California. It was in Karsten Solheim's garage that his equipment revolution was born and with it came the commitment to quality and innovation found in this 100% Ping milled putter series. Made from 303 stainless steel, the three-putter series (available in Anser, Piper and Zing shapes) offers classic model shapes designed for players seeking the very best. The black nickel chrome finish made popular in the PING Tour Wedges is the final touch. High quality 303 stainless steel is used to produce slightly heavier heads which provide a solid feel and each putter is 100% milled to create classic shapes and clean flowing lines for putting confidence.

Ping may not have the caché that many place on a Scotty Cameron putter, but with their new Ping Redwood Anser Putter line they're producing putters every bit the equal of Cameron's off the rack stainless putters, but with many more custom options. It'll be interesting to see if any of these turn up in the bags of Ping staff members. And if you want to buy them as cheap golf clubs, the internet will offer you more options.
