2010 British Open Odds to Win Favor Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods opened as the golf betting favorite in 2010 British Open odds at 5-1with Phil Mickelson 12-1 and Rory McIlroy next at 14-1. Ernie Els 16-1 and Lee Westwood 18-1 are the next betting selections at online sportsbooks.

Two time Open winner Padraig Harrington has opened at 20-1 while the defending champion Cink is an 90-1 longshot. Tiger Woods will be grouped with Justin Rose of England for the first two rounds of 2010 British Open. Rose has the hot hand as of late with two wins in his last three starts. Harrington will begin play with the 60 year old Watson and 18 year old Ryo Ishikawa with Watson a 150-1 longshots in British Open odds. St. Andrews is a links course that is an acquired taste to some, though Woods loves it. "I fell in love with it the first time I ever played it," said Woods this week. The Open will begin play on Thursday July 13th from Scotland and can be seen on ABC and ESPN.
