Moving Your Body

2016/7/20 14:31:04

It has snowed heavily these days; maybe some of you were beaten by this bad weather, maybe most of you choose to throw your golf irons into your garages and let them froze in this cold weather. So, I just want you to look out of the window, look how happy those teenagers and little children are with skiing or running. Don't you think that you should rise from the warm bed and move your body? Ok, let's start and practice.

The best thing you should do now is go to the driving range and take your titleist ap2 irons first. Then get a comfortable stance and make a few rhythmic practice swings grazing the ground to establish your "bottom of the swing."

Set up the ball and begin hitting the balls. You should set up the ball so that you contact the ball just prior to contacting the turf. Unlike swing with your old Callaway ft i-brid irons, when you swinging this new irons, you should be more concentrate. The object here is not to see how far you can hit the ball by swinging all out, but establish your shot distance by swinging comfortably within yourself. This is how you will want to swing on the course. A comfortable swing will hold up under pressure.

Again, it is imperative that you swing comfortably within yourself. Once you have established your distance with one of your irons, if you are still feeling fresh, you can take another iron out of your Titleist Golf Bag and follow the same procedure. Always establish your "bottom of the swing arc" with each club before actually striking golf balls. In time you will automatically know where to place the ball in your stance for each iron, but until then always take a few practice swings prior to hitting th ball.

If you begin to get tired, stop for the day. You will only build in bad habits and will be unable to determine the real ball distance for the iron in hand. The purpose of this exercise is to determine the exact distance for each iron. You must swing each iron with the same relaxed, smooth tempo in order to establish the distances accurately.
