Excellent feel on Titleist 913FD Fairway Wood is second-to-none

I have had numerous Fairway Wood in the past and I have never been extremely comfortable off of the tee and off the ground until I tried 913FD cheap golf clubs. I would recommend this club to anyone looking for the best off both worlds. This is a fantastic club on long par fives and short par fours. Great ball flight and control. The brand speaks volume, a great product from a true golf friendly company.

As usual, Titleist has rolled out a classy, sporty, and not to mention a rocket-launcher of a club. The titanium face has a great sound and feel. The pear-shaped head looks great. The patented SureFit Tour hosel technology allows loft and lie to be independently adjusted to precisely fit your game. The total performance design with a low and forward center of gravity (CG) location and SureFit Tour (SFT) weight provides optimum launch with reduced spin for more distance.

This fairway wood succeeds the 910Fd as Titleist's driving fairway wood. Like the previous model the 913Fd has a larger head with a deeper face than the 913F fairway. The 188cc Fd head is 31cc bigger than the F version and this gives it a much better presence behind the ball at address which we prefer. Most better players use a 3-wood more from the tee now than in the fairway and this club is still one of the best in the market for this type of shot.

The Titleist 913FD Fairway Wood is a larger, high-performance, full pear-shaped fairway wood that delivers long distance with lower spin and a penetrating flight. Industry-leading SureFit Tour hosel technology and a high performance shaft provide serious golfers with the most precise fit available, all with player preferred looks, sound, and feel for total performance.

The centre of gravity has been moved lower and slightly forward of the 910Fd and this increases the launch angle by 1 degree but drops the spin by around 150 rpm and increases distance by 4 yards on average. The ball speed and launch angles for both the 913 fairways are now the same but, as the name suggests, the 913 Fd Low Spin will spin less. Therefore this is probably a more niche club than the 910Fd as it will require a decent level of club head speed to get the ball airborne and maximise carry, especially from the fairway. That said we are not talking pro-levels of spin here as it is still very playable from most types of good lies.

Overall, 913FD is a lot better looking than the Titleist 913F Fairway Wood for sale, in my opinion and miles ahead of my previous wood in feel and performance. I am having excellent ball flight off of the turf and tee. No problem what so ever getting it off the ground and i am not a high ball speed player. Swing speed around 108. With this fairway wood you get confidence at address and excellent feel.
