Orlando Golf Courses

The past few years has seen a rise in the number of Orlando golf courses, but surprisingly has also seen a decline in the number of golfers. What this means to the diehard golfer is plenty of open tee times at Orlando courses. This page will feature a few of our choices of golf courses in Orlando for you to try. Many take online reservations, so try our recommended service to book time for your favorite Orlando golf courses.

Featured Orlando Golf Courses

The first of our featured golf courses is the David Harman designed, par 72, 7,213-yard championship Shingle Creek Golf Club. This golf courses features undulating fairways and interconnecting waterways that weaves their way throughout this beautifully maintained new (2003) course. It's priced to play around $100, and the green fee includes GPS equipped golf carts, on-course food and beverage service, and valet parking.

For one of the more truly affordable Orlando golf courses, try the Chip Powell designed St. Cloud Golf Club. Opened in 2001, this par 72 course plays a long of 7,110 yards to a short of 5,027 yards from five sets of tees. This links style course has slopes from 111 to 125, but don't let the numbers fool you. You'll need to be careful around these greens that feature false front and sides. A simple wedge shot isn't always enough here. You'll often need to get creative to shoot anything close to par here.

The last of our featured Orlando golf courses is the Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Jr. designed Celebration Golf Club. Many will choose this course for the designers alone, since the Jones team is noted for the best in golfing experiences. This classic course offers five sets of tees so even the beginners can enjoy a fine round of golf the way it was meant to be played.
