Texas has many great destinations for golfers, and San Antonio golf courses keep them coming back. There are plenty of golf courses in San Antonio to choose from, and most are priced for the average golfers to enjoy, running between $45 and $150. We will feature a few of our picks for San Antonio golf courses below, and we hope you will enjoy them.

Featured San Antonio Golf Courses

Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf designed our first featured San Antonio course, the La Cantera Resort Course. This par 72 will test the best of you from the championship tees with a slope of 134 over 7,301 yards of course that was cut through a limestone quarry. Mere mortals can play here also from one of the five sets of tees ranging from a low of 4,993 yards with an associated slope of a sane 108.

Also at La Cantera (Spanish for rock quarry) is the Palmer Course. Arnold designed this San Antonio course making use of the natural hazards and topography and came up with a true winner. This par 71, 7,034-yard course is priced the same as the neighboring Resort Course and offers the same spectacular vistas on nearly every hole of this featured San Antonio golf course.

Our last featured San Antonio golf course is the par 72, 6,975-yard Silverhorn Golf Club of Texas. This challenging test will require you to bring out the longest clubs in your bag from the very first tee. Number one is a whopping 578-yard par 5 that will have you wondering how many times you can use a driver on the same hole. Boasting a slope of 129, this San Antonio golf course is priced to play at under $100. A few other recommended courses are Quarry Golf Club, Canyon Springs, and The Dominion CC.
