Denver Golf

Denver golf is alive and quite well in the "Mile High City." Unlike golf in many places in the country, Denver golf will take your breath away literally and figuratively. If you're new to Denver, you may want to ride the courses rather than walk, because the elevations take some getting used to. With courses at elevations above 7,000 feet and spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains, Denver is where one would assume God plays the game.

Featured Denver Golf Courses

No matter what type of course you prefer, you can find one in Denver. The prices tend to be quite reasonable, as well, running between $40 and $150. There are several stellar courses that we recommend in the Denver area: the Arrowhead Golf Club, Ridge at Castle Pines, Omni Interlocken Resort, Vista Ridge, and Inverness Resort are all wonderful courses that will make your stay in Denver worth remembering.

At under $100, the Omni-Interlocken is worth the trip. This Graham & Panks designed course seems more like a links course with its many natural grasses, but one look at the mountains tells you that you aren't on any seaside. It plays a long 7,000 + yards and has a slope of between 123 and 136 depending on the tee you choose. This is a true 27-hole course that offers a choice of three 9-hole layouts to test even the best player. The 12-acre practice area alone is worth a visit!

The one time in your life that you spend over $100 for green fees and think you got a great deal will be at Arrowhead Golf Club. This is a premier Denver golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and amazingly open to the public. You'll find extreme elevation changes, natural wonders that will have you in absolute awe, and what is arguably the world's most beautiful par three, the 13th hole at Arrowhead Golf Club. Bring a camera to make this golf outing memorable forever.
