When I saw the Mizuno MP 53 Irons at the first time, the smaller head shape, clean cavity, flowing lines and high polished finish will instantly make them a classic. The 360?grind on the top line and sole are obviously there for performance reason, but damn does it look good. Everything just flows with these irons and believe it or not, the grind actually makes the sole look thinner than what it truly is. The MP-53's forgiveness is in the right places - the mid and long and irons. With the shorter irons, loft takes over the role of forgiveness and we put an emphasis back onto feel and versatility.

Ticking all the boxes required to be an MP model, the Grain Flow Forged MP-53 has the head size, playing profile, and top line to please the most demanding shot-makers. Cheap golf club sets the unique thing about the MP-53's is the Diamond Muscle which gives the irons an incredibly solid feel...surprisingly even on shots that weren't hit flush every single time. A new diamond muscle designed and a milled pocket cavity have allowed Mizuno to add more forgiveness to a compact head. Mizuno have worked hard at the sound of the face at impact as this is directly related to feel. The pocket cavity removes 14 grams of weight and allows it to be redistributed around the cavity. The shorter irons progress into a muscle-back design for added control.
