How To Break 80

How to Break 80

If you've been playing golf for several years and are shooting in the 80s or even in the low 90s, I'm sure you're looking for ways of how to break 80 and shoot in the 70s regularly.

If you're an 80s shooter, you've probably had a round or several rounds in the 70s. But can you do it regularly or when you really need to, like when you're playing a buddy who beats you all the time, or in a tournament or scramble?

Does it seem to you that there's always something missing from your game in your quest of how to break 80 regularly. You're probably not quite sure what it is, so you do some or all of the following, I know I did:

  • Hit more balls on the range regularly--trying to develop that so-called muscle memory .
  • Take more lessons.
  • Buy a new driver so you can hit the fall farther and straighter.
  • Buy a new putter in the hope that you will be able to sink more of those 3-5 foot putts you keep missing.
  • Order a couple of "golf gadgets" from those TV infomercials, hoping that they'll help you get closer to that elusive "pro swing".

However, have any of the above really escalated your game to the next level? I doubt it. So what do you do? You keep on searching. And this is precisely what the multi-billion dollar golf industry wants you to do! Keep searching for ways of how to break 80.

But you're looking in all the wrong places. You don't need to practice more. You don't need more lessons. You don't need more clubs, balls, or swing gadgets. What you need is what all the top pros already have learned--you need to master the mental side of golf.

You can hit thousands of balls on the range, take lesson after lesson, play with the newest clubs and balls, and still not play any better until you master the mental game.

Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus say that golf is 90% mental. And famous golf instructor Jim Flick adds that the other 10% is mental too.

Are you missing this important part of your game? Probably, because you keep believing the propaganda from the golf industry that you NEED the newest driver, the newest set of forgiving irons, the ball the pros play, along with more lessons, more golf gadgets, and of course lots and lots of practice.

However you can break 80 without practice! How to break 80 has been accomplished by golfers all over the world without taking another lesson or hitting another range ball. You can consistently shoot in the 70s by using the swing you have right now.

Yes you too can learn how to break 80 on a regular basis without practice. All you need is your mind. This will allow you to "practice" while in your car, while at work, while sitting at home watching TV, and frequently during the day when you have a few minutes here and there.

All the top pros, past and present, have mastered the mental game and I know you can too! You can learn how to break 80 with the proper golf mental game. Wouldn't it be great to finally be a 70s shooter?
