Will Tiger Woods Win A Tournament This Year?

The last time Tiger Woods won a golf tournament was December 5, 2011 at Thousand Oaks, California. Before that win it had been a 26 tournament drought for Tiger and he was really struggling. Recently, golf fans have seen glimpses of the old Tiger surfacing, but he still lacked that edge that he once possessed. Tiger use to-be loaded with confidence and you could see it in his swagger, but you can-determine just by looking at him now that he does not command that presence anymore.

Tiger was once the finest golfer we have ever seen since Jack Nicklaus, until the scandal knocked him down a few notches. He was on the verge of breaking Jack's record of 18 Majors under his belt and Tiger-currently has won 14 Majors of his own. However, since Tiger's confidence vanished it has been a big disappointment to-be without any tournament wins at all. Confidence is a large part of an athlete's success in sports and without it an athlete is hopeless.

When Tiger was on top of his game, he was-surrounded by beautiful women all-of-the time. We all know as men how a beautiful sexy woman at our side can boost our confidence level tremendously. So, I am sure that has played a significant role in Tiger's game and why he is struggling so much now. Golf is-recognized-as-being a mental game, just as much as it is a physical one. Most professionals will tell you that the mental aspect of the game is the most crucial part of playing golf.

One of Tiger's many attributes use to-be the way he would be able to close out the tournament. He was exceptional in the last round and seized the moment when it mattered most. Tiger was lethal with his putter and that was a big reason-why he was so successful with a golf club. A putting distance of 5 to 10 feet was automatic for him, but-currently he can't sustain that consistency. In fact, it's not just his putting, he is having problems with driving as well.

Consistency is the key to-being a contender in golf and if you can't sustain that consistency throughout the four rounds of a tournament. You have some big concerns and once he is able to regain that it will make his game improve dramatically. Remember, when Tiger was on top of his game, it seemed he could do nothing wrong. Although, now it is just the opposite and he is attempting everything possible to-achieve that success he once attained.

In conclusion, fans are anticipating Tiger's comeback to-be on the horizon and when it arrives he transcend golf once again. Until that day all we can do is support him and wait for that astounding moment when he turns the corner. We all make mistakes and nobody is perfect, so once Tiger realizes that he can regain that everlasting-confidence back and apply it to his game. We believe that he will be unstoppable and unwavering just like he was in his-previous years. Is it possible for that Tiger to resurface or have we seen the last of one of the greatest golfers to ever play the game? Within the next few years Tiger will have his chance to prove himself and if he doesn't than he will still remain among the best to ever to play the game.
