How You Can Develop More Power In Your Golf Swing By Focusing On Your Core

By spending some time identifying and conditioning the core muscles that are constantly used during the golf swing you will be able to see some definite improvements to your power and distance off the tee or fairway. Now, while sitting or standing, extend your arms out in front of you while keeping your object in between them so that your hands are basically together. Look straight ahead and then rotate your arms and shoulders as far to the left or right as you can, go from side to side (for a total of 1 repetition) and do this 20 times to finish a set.

And there you have it, an easy to accomplish core strength exercise that you can perform in the comfort of your home or even office. No need for golf specific equipment or going to the gym. If you've got some old dumbbells lying around then you can slowly add to the weight as you go and continue to build up your core strength in this way.
