Palmer found his position in Sony Open

American Ryan Palmer beat Australian Robert Allenby and won at the Sony Open in Honolulu?this is his third time to land on US PGA Tour.

Having duelled all day in the final group of the day, the Australian missed a 10-foot putt at the last to leave his fellow overnight leader with a tap-in birdie for victory at the par-70 Waialae Country Club.

Palmer admitted he had got lucky?maybe titleist ap2 irons is lucky to him which he bought before.

"You need things like that to win," he said of his chip hitting the flag at the last.

"I came out here with a lot of hopes for the year and wanted to get off to a good start. My body felt great all week and I was strong mentally, stuck to my guns and took every day one at a time."

Allenby, who had struggled with a twisted ankle all week, said he was not too disappointed with the final outcome, despite missing out on a first title on the PGA Tour since the 2001 Marconi Pennsylvania Classic.

"I gave myself a chance, that's all I can do but Ryan played awesome," Allenby said. "And that's golf, sometimes you win, sometimes you don't."

Palmer's closing four-under 66 and 15-under par total gave him a one-stroke victory over Allenby (67) with Steve Stricker, at number 3 the highest ranked player in the field, a further shot back following a 66.

a joke:World inventions meeting

Once every year, all of the countries around the world gather their scientists to see which country did the best invention. so the Japanese came up with a new spaceship that can do light speed. the Americans came up with the most powerful bomb in the world. the Canadians came up with a new type of cars that use water as a fule. so, every country came up with his invention. at the end, a scientist from Iraq came and said "be hold for the bigest invention in the world," then he toke out a match box and he opened it, he toke out a fly ( a living fly ) then he put the fly on his hand and he asked the fly to fly, so the fly flew. then he toke out another match box and he toke out another fly, but this time he cut the fly wing's, and put the fly on his hands ( the fly had no wings ), and he asked her to fly, but the fly didn't fly. then the Iraqi scientist said "in conclusion, when we take off a fly wing's, the fly can not hear anything."
