Myrtle Beach Golf Courses Can Help Improve Your Technique

Any golfer knows that practicing your game is a sure way to improve your technique. There are a few ways to go about getting a good practice in. Trying out new and challenges courses is one of them. One way to test out multiple courses is to purchase a golf package that offers you access to several challenging courses. Myrtle Beach, for example, offers many different customized golf trips with full lists of courses available to practice your game on.

For a nice challenging course in Myrtle Beach, I suggest going to Pearl West. This course has been host to many tournaments and was nominated in 1988 by the Golf Digest as the "Best New Public Course." There are lots of water holes throughout the greens and the design is breathtaking. Golfers should note that this is a challenging course, and they are sure to be able to practice many long shots and new angles.

For a nice traditional practice, I advise checking out the International Club of Myrtle Beach. This course is lined with trees and filled with rolling terrain. This course will really help you improve your technique as it offers a range of narrow and wide fairways. Not only will it improve your shot, but it forces you to think about which club would be the best decision for your next shot. There are 18 holes on this course and club rental is always available.

Nominated in 1990 as the country’s best new course, Indigo Creek is definitely a place to visit. This course has a full range of features like marshes, lakes, high slopes, waste bunkers, and rolling greens. Indigo Creek is a must see course and will offer a challenge to all its visitors. It has a Lowcountry style and was designed by Willard Byrd.

Sea Trail – Maples Course is another spot you might want to hit. It provides golfers and extra challenge with trees in the bunkers. This is known to be a fun course and will really help you improve your putting technique.  It is designed by Dan Maples and has an average number of water holes.

Practicing on different courses is an ideal way to perfect your technique. Myrtle Beach is one of the most respected golfing destinations in the world and can provide its visitors with many different terrains. Just be smart when you are planning a trip here because there are lots of places online that offer discounts and package deals for this area.
