Baseball has won millions of fans over generations and across the globe. Americans love it, they are not only passionate supporters of their favorite teams but also take a certain pride for having a rich history in the sport. It has become a tradition in the States to buy MLB tickets and watch the games live to cherish unity and shared experience. Initially, this sport had no organized body, but in the light of increasing interest, several leagues were formed to fulfill the need of a more structured and professional establishment.  However, Major League Baseball or MLB preceded all and remains a great source of entertainment to date.

MLB was formed in result of the merger of two independent entities, National League (NL) and American League (AL). The decision of uniting the two previously rival leagues under one banner MLB holds a fundamental importance in the history of this sport. It has not only helped develop a well-structured establishment progressing successfully, but also heightened up the competitiveness among the teams and multiplied the fans count tremendously. Sweeping the hearts of the nation, it was then, that it earned the title of "Favorite National Pastime".

As always, this year's MLB season looks as promising as ever, with highly experienced players and packed schedules with fantastic teams all season long. There are 30 teams of talented and skilled players, each team participating in 162 games in Major League Baseball. The regular season kicks off in summer, the month of April on the First Sunday, heating up to some major rivalry games matchups, intense enough to keep the fans at the edge of their seats. The nail-biting games will come to an end by the start of October, concluding the regular season and moving onto equally intense playoffs, provided there aren't any tie breakers during the season. The final stage of playoffs will ultimately lead up to the World Championship Series.

The entertainment package isn't restricted to just regular season, but also extends to Spring Trainings and All-Star Games. Spring trainings were initially just the training sessions for all the major league team players to practice on the home ground. But the love for the sport, aided by the favorable weather conditions, brought the diehard fans to the stadiums to enjoy the Spring Training Sessions. Considering the attraction of these sessions, MLB decided to turn them into series of training games to provide the loyal fans another event to enjoy. The joyride doesn't end here, as the baseballs fans have more to look forward to in the form of All-Star Games. These games feature the chosen players, voted by the judges and the fans from both National League and American League.

Every year, the number of passionate fans continue to grow. Buying tickets has become even more easier as the fans can reserve MLB tickets online. So the loyal fans, make the smart choice and reserve your ticket now, as every single game matters!
